Dear Abby: I am a thirteen-year-old boy, and my parents force me to go to church every Sunday.
I hate going to church because I see people there who I know are drunkards, gossips, liars, and cheats, and they are right there every Sunday saying their prayers and singing hymns. I don’t have any respect for hypocrites, and our church is full of them, my own parents included.
I am only thirteen, so maybe my opinion doesn’t count, but I don’t see any sense in my
going to church with a bunch of hypocrites.

I think you need to find out what we really do when go to the church. There are several purposes of going to the church. Someone wants to find new friend or talk to others like the gossips. Someone is force to go there like the drunkards. These are the in appropriate behaviors. If you annoy them, you have to tell your parents what are the reason why you don’t want to go to the church. If you can’t do like this or your parents against you and force you to go to church, I think you don’t care them and do the right way. I hope a thirteen-year-old boy know about the good behavior when go to church. So, I think if you can be patient with this situation, you not only are a good Christianity but also you can across the hard trouble when you face it. Furthermore, I think at least you learn what the inappropriate behaviors are and I believe that when you grow up, you’re going to be a good adult.

I understand how you feel like that. I think your mom wants you pray respect to the God. You should understand your mom because you are Christian and you are too young. You should obey her order. In fact Christian must go to the church every Sunday. I think you should tell the reasons to her why you don’t want to go there. Furthermore, you should tell the bad thing that you see in the church. I think she won’t agree with you at first time. I want you tell her every day by using your reasons. I think some day she will stop to force you. Moreover, you should think no one is perfect. In the world there are not only good people but also it has the bad people too. If I were you, I will go there. Although it is difficult to do something that you hate it. I want you think of the God. Ask yourself do you love him or not? You should think that you go there because you want to pray respect. Don’t care about bad people anymore.
